These days Patrice Evra is an Internet sensation, among many other things of course. To me specially an Internet sensation cause his videos makes me laugh so hard! They’re just grwat treats! He has brightened up a few Monday mornings, to say the least.
The man doesn’t need an introduction in the football world. But it’s not just being a great footballer. Evra is more than that. If you watch his interviews and the way he expresses himself tells how wonderful he is as a person. There are very few footballers I’ve appreciated equally on and off the pitch.
Recently the Manchester United legend shared some remarkable stories of his life – from begging on the streets of Paris to fighting Racism in front of the whole world.
The Frenchman also recently revealed in an exclusive interview with The Times that he was sexually abused as a child when he was 13.
Evra’s journey from being a street kid to a football superstar is full of bravery, self-belief and strength. As he described his experiences, MUTV interviewer broke down in tears. When asked about it, she mentioned those were tears of happiness. Tears came to my eyes as well, listening to his great adventures and experiences.
Here’s the full interview:
It takes courage to be happy when life is difficult. Evra is an example of such courageous people.
Recently, Patrice Evra and her wife Margaux Alexandra welcomed their newborn son, Lilas Latyr Evra. Congratulations to the couple and all the best to the family.
Now that I think of it, Manchester United is so lucky to have a wonderful human being like Patrice Evra as part of its history.
I love this game!
