Congrats to the man of the moment Sir Rashford, who scored his 100th goal for Manchester United.
The United academy graduate scored his landmark goal against West Ham in EPL, a game which saw United edge past the hammers, thanks to couple of world class saves from David de Gea and overall a very good defensive performance from the team.
Youth. Courage. Success
Giving opportunity to youth players is Manchester United’s critical priority and it has been so for over 8 decades! For past 85 years running, United have named an academy graduate in their matchday squad. This is something I am very proud of, to support such a great club with such a long standing platform for young footballing talents.
Rashford has emerged as a top footballer thanks to Luis van Gaal selecting him as his young prodigy. He scored in his first two matches. Some ups and downs along the way, but when fully fit Marcus always delivers.
Just 25, Rashford has the opportunity to suppress Wayne Rooney as the club’s all time leading scorer. The road ahead is difficult though. It means Rashford would have to score 155+ goals in the next 6-7 seasons as a forward. Long way to go.
🤩 From boy to man.

The first of 💯 United goals for @MarcusRashford 🔥#MUFC
Rashford is an inspiration.
It is tough to come through every youth facilities and reach the first team squad. It is even tougher doing so while growing up amidst poverty. Rashford has done that. His performances frustrate me sometimes, but we should never forget what it took Rashford to be there.
I wish you 2 more centuries for United. All the best Rashy!!
Fun fact: It took Manchester United legend Denis Law only 110 games to score first 100 goals for United! Unreal!
Rashy, you know what to do. Score more and score often. And keep feeding those who are in need, on and off the pitch.
